Test Bench for Hybrid Power Heads

The test bench is used to test electrical drives for vehicle use. Test specimens are hybrid power heads which are used in the power train between the internal combustion engine and the automatic transmission. The drive heads consist of a converter housing in which the main components motor, power electronics, torque converters and gearbox oil coolers are shored.
The drive heads have a defined direction of rotation in the vehicle but can be operated in both directions on the test stand. The test stand is therefore designed
for a four-quadrant operation (right / left run, motor / generator).
